Article 1 (Application)
These Terms and Conditions stipulate the rules for using social networking services or social networking sites (hereinafter referred to as “SNS”) operated by SEN LLC (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”), or fan sites for the Company’s brand products (hereinafter referred to as “the Service”).
Article 2 (Prohibited Acts)
1. Users of the Service shall not engage in the following acts (including acts that may lead to such acts) when using the Service:
(1) Acts that infringe upon the rights or interests of the Company, other users, or third parties.
(2) Acts that defame, insult, or damage the reputation, credibility, or privacy of the Company, other users, or third parties (including disclosing information that may lead to identification of individuals such as email addresses, phone numbers, or addresses), or acts that interfere with business operations.
(3) Acts that violate the Public Offices Election Act.
(4) Acts that solicit membership in religious groups or other organizations.
(5) Acts that solicit investments, donations, financial contributions, or purchases of goods or services.
(6) Acts that introduce or solicit browsing of other websites deemed inappropriate by the Company, or acts of using the Service as a means to download files.
(7) Acts of diverting information obtained through the Service for commercial purposes.
(8) Acts of transmitting viruses or other harmful programs or files that interfere with the normal functioning of computer software or hardware of Shiseido, other users, or third parties through the Service.
(9) Acts of posting information or content without legitimate authority on the website.
(10) Acts that interfere with the provision and use of the Service by the Company, other users, or third parties.
(11) Acts of unauthorized access to the website through hacking or other misconduct, or acts of monitoring or duplicating all or part of the website.
(12) Other acts that violate the SNS Terms of Use, public order and morals, laws or criminal regulations, or other acts deemed inappropriate by the Company.
Article 3 (Usage Restrictions and Deregistration)
1. If a user falls under any of the following, the Company may, without prior notice, restrict all or part of the use of the Service or delete the user’s registration, and the user shall not object to this:
1) Violation of any provision of these Terms.
2) If it is found that there are false facts in the registration information.
3) Failure to fulfill payment obligations such as fees.
4) If there is no response to communications from the Company for a certain period.
5) If there is no use of the Service for a certain period since the last use.
6) Other cases where the Company deems the use of the Service inappropriate.
2. The Company shall not be liable for any damages incurred by the user due to actions taken by the Company under this Article.
Article 4 (Disclaimer of Warranty and Limitation of Liability)
The Company does not guarantee or endorse the content of information provided by users through the Service. Therefore, the Company shall not be liable for any damages incurred by users as a result of relying on such content.
Article 5 (Changes to Service Content)
The Company may, without notice to users, change the content of the Service or discontinue the provision of the Service, and shall not be liable for any damages incurred by users as a result thereof.
Article 6 (Changes to the SNS Terms of Use)
The Company may change these Terms at any time without notice to users if deemed necessary. In such case, when a user starts using the Service after the change, the user shall be deemed to have agreed to the changed Terms.
Article 7 (Handling of Personal Information)
The Company shall handle personal information obtained through the use of the Service appropriately in accordance with the Company’s Privacy Policy.
Article 8 (Notices or Communications)
Notices or communications between the user and the Company shall be made by the method specified by the Company. Unless otherwise notified by the user in the manner separately prescribed by the Company, the currently registered contact information shall be deemed valid, and notifications or communications shall be deemed to have reached the user at the time of dispatch.
Article 9 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)
1. The interpretation of these Terms shall be governed by the laws of Japan.
2. In the event of any dispute relating to the Service, the court having jurisdiction over the location of the Company’s head office shall have exclusive agreed jurisdiction.
